WIU Ag to Host 53rd Annual Bull Sale March 7

The Western Illinois University School of Agriculture will host the 53rd Annual Bull Sale on Friday, March 7, at the WIU Livestock Center. The sale will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a high-quality selection of bulls, including Angus, Simmental, Percentage Simmental and Red Angus.

The event, held at 2265 Wigwam Hollow Road in Macomb, showcases the commitment of WIU's nationally recognized agriculture program to livestock excellence and hands-on student learning. Proceeds from the sale support the WIU School of Agriculture, helping provide students with valuable experiences in livestock evaluation, breeding and marketing.

"This is a unique hands-on opportunity for WIU students and a tradition that spans over 53 years. Not only are we providing quality bull genetics to Western Illinois and beyond, but differentiating our college experience from the masses,” WIU Ag Associate Professor Keela Trennepohl said.
