MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT AT GALESBURG HIGH SCHOOL FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME

Members of the Galesburg Varsity Football team will be dressed in military jerseys as they take on Sterling High School on Friday, September 20, 2024, to honor the United States Military. The Army National Guard has provided the team jerseys for the night. According to Nick Young, athletic director, “We are honored to partner with the Army National Guard to celebrate all the branches of the Military at our Friday night football game vs. Sterling. We thank them for their sacrifice, commitment, and their leadership qualities. They've been great models and support for our student-athletes this year.” The game begins at 7 p.m. at F & M Stadium, 1135 West Fremont Street, Galesburg, Illinois.
