By Nathan Baliva

MONMOUTH, ILL. The Monmouth College men's and women's soccer teams had nine student-athletes named Division III Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) on Tuesday. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 90% of their teams games or start at least 66% of their games.

For the women's team there were five selections: Brooke Gruby (Leonardtown, Maryland), Yoselim Hernandez (Monmouth, Illinois), Mariah Hobson (Princeton, Illinois), Natalya Main (Peoria, Illinois), Natalie Morrow (Silvis, Illinois) and Izzy Seipold (Peoria, Illinois)

The men's team had three selections: Parker Davis (Burlington, Iowa), Owen Murray (Cedar City, Utah) and Treyton Yi (Streamwood, Illinois).

Main is a 3-time selection while Hobson and Murray are repeat selections. The other six are all first-time selections.

This is the first CSC Academic All-District announcement of the 2025-26 academic year. Last year the Scots had seven soccer players earn the honor. The next announcement will be the volleyball team on December 16.
