The Fighting Scots picked up a 25-12 victory in the first set, but Knox kept the second set close until Monmouth pulled away late to win 25-18. The Fighting Scots led the whole way in the third set and fended off a late surge by the Prairie Fire to win 25-18 again. Katie Anderson led Knox with 21 assists and 16 digs. Catessa Duran added 11 kills and 16 digs. "After a rough first set, we did show signs of life in the second set," said head coach Pat Barry. "Monmouth brought their best game tonight and we did not.
