Knox Men's Basketball Plays Exhibition at Lindenwood

Men's basketball lost a D1 exhibition 77-42 at Lindenwood on December 17.

The Lions jumped out to a 20-3 lead early in the first half and led 41-15 at halftime.

Knox scored the first four points of the second half, but Lindenwood continued building their lead for the rest of the half to claim victory.

Jordan Rayner led Knox with 10 points. Matt Garife and Cade Windham each added seven points. Windham tallied seven rebounds as well. Aidan Derry tacked on six points and pulled down eight boards.

"This was a great experience for our guys," said head coach Ben Davis. "It is always fun to play a D1 team and we definitely learned things about ourselves. This experience should help us grow for the remainder of the season. We still have a lot of basketball to play and we will work to improve each day."

The Prairie Fire return to action as they host Augustana on December 19.
