Golfers Compete at Viking Invitational

The Monmouth men's golf teams finished in ninth place on Sunday at the two-day Augustana Viking Invitational.
Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) led the Scots with a 29th place finish. He shot 79 (+7) on Saturday and a +4 76 on Sunday for a total of 155. Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) finished in 42th place with a 82 on Saturday and a 77 on Sunday for a total of 159
Luke Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) tied for 50th with an 80 on Sunday for a total of 164. Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) shot 86 on Saturday and 81 on Sunday and finished 53rd with a 167
Playing as an individual, CJ Pugh (Abingdon, Illinois) shot 90-83 for a 173 to finish 55th. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) finished 56th with a 97-89-176. Declan Flynn (Monmouth, Illinois) on Saturday and 104 on Sunday for a 204 total. .Zackery Manley finished 58th with a 100-99-199.
On the women's side, Lexie Campbell (Earlville, Illinosi) was the lone golfer. She shot a 101 on Saturday and did not post a score on Sunday. The women did not get a team score for the event.
The women's season is over while the men are next in action at the SLIAC Championships May 4-6. The 3-round event will take place at Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana.
