Hi, I’m Bob Fioretti. I’m running for Illinois Attorney General. I’m a civil rights attorney and was elected twice as Alderman in Chicago.
Several years ago, I switched to the Republican Party because, like millions of others across America, the Democratic Party left me. They abandoned family, faith, and fiscal Responsibility
For too long, insiders have written the rules while working families pay the price. The Attorney General is supposed to be the people’s lawyer, not the politicians’, not the donors’, and not the insiders’. But today, that office has forgotten who it serves.
As your Attorney General, I will fight for common sense values we all share: Standing up FOR crime victims instead of violent criminals, FOR our citizens instead of illegal aliens, FOR parents instead of teachers’ unions, and FOR taxpayers instead of corrupt politicians. As I always have, I will stand WITH law enforcement as they risk their lives every day to keep us safe. I’m going to continue to do what I’ve always done my entire life: fighting for safe streets, strong communities and thriving businesses.
The Attorney General has filed or joined dozens Of lawsuits against the current Administration in Washington. These suits, among other things, demand Illinois continue to spend untold millions of dollars on illegal aliens, while still refusing to turn over the most violent criminal illegal aliens for deportation.
The lawsuits also seek to guarantee men can continue to compete in women’s sports, and ensure Illinois’ elections continue to be among the worst run in the nation.
We need an Attorney General who fights the estimated 110,000 estimated gang members in Chicago as he does fighting a few hundred National Guardsmen.
The current Illinois Attorney General accepted nearly three million dollars from Mike Madigan, who yesterday reported to federal prison, for benefitting from more than a million
dollars in illegal bribes from Commonwealth Edison. By the way, the Attorney General accepted nearly half a million dollars from Commonwealth Edison, its affiliates, lobbyists or attorneys, including from nearly every one of the defendants in the Madigan bribery trial. Meanwhile, during Kwame Raoul’s time in office, the average Commonwealth Edison customer has seen their bill rise 265%. Illinois voters know the corruption didn’t end just because the Attorney General’s $3million donor went to jail.
He also took nearly $4 million from the Governor. When powerful or corrupt politicians say jump, our Attorney General asks, ‘How high?’ It doesn’t have to be this way.
I will root out corruption, protect our most vulnerable, and restore integrity to a government that has lost its way. I’m Bob Fioretti I want to be your Attorney General.
