Crossroads Cultural Connections is thrilled to welcome acclaimed Illinois singer-songwriter Dan Hubbard for an intimate concert on Sunday, November 23. The evening begins with an optional potluck dinner at 6:00 PM—guests are invited to bring a dish to share—and the concert will start at 7:00 PM. This all-ages performance is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $20–30, all going directly to the artist.
With a career spanning more than two decades, Dan Hubbard has earned a reputation as one of the Midwest’s most compelling and consistent songwriting voices. Over the course of nine studio albums, extensive national touring, and performances alongside numerous well-known artists, Hubbard has developed a style rooted in authenticity and emotional resonance. Drawing influence from musical greats such as Tom Petty, his songs have been praised as “beautiful, powerful, and often seemingly effortless” (Independent Clauses).
Hubbard is currently preparing to release his 10th studio record, a six-song EP titled Vol. 1: Letting Go, slated for fall 2025. This new work marks the beginning of a two-volume collection, offering listeners a fresh chapter from an artist known for introspective lyricism and heartfelt storytelling.
Bishop Hill Creative Commons invites longtime fans and newcomers alike to experience an evening of exceptional original music in an intimate, community-centered setting.
