Scots Drop Season Opener to Millikin
By Nathan Baliva MONMOUTH, ILL. The Monmouth College men's basketball team were held to their lowest scoring output in two seasons in a 71-55 home loss to Millikin on Saturday. The Fighting Scots (0-1) will play three road games before hosting Eureka on Nov. 22. Max Maring (Port Byron, Illinois) got the Scots going with two free throws. Scots Swim Teams Split at IC

Allie Warren (Galesburg, Illinois) and Tariq McLarty (South Holland, Illinois) both won two individual events and Warren also swam on a winning relay team. Toys for Tots Holiday Collection Starts at WIU
The Western Illinois University Civil Service Employee Council (CSEC) and the Council of Administrative Personnel (COAP) are teaming up to collect Toys for Tots this holiday season. Donation boxes are located on the first floor of Sherman Hall, Stipes Hall and Western Hall beginning Thursday, Nov. 6 through Tuesday, Dec. 16. The Fighting Scots (7-6-3, 3-3-2) were eliminated from MWC Tournament contention when Grinnell won at Knox on Saturday.
