Women's Golfers Fall by Three in Dual at Eureka

MONMOUTH, ILL. The Monmouth College women's golf team fell to Eureka College by three strokes in a dual meet on Tuesday. The match ended 412-415 at Kauffman Park in Eureka. The teams will meet again at Gibson Woods on Sept. 29.

Lexie Campbell (Earlville, Illinois) was third overall and led Monmouth with a 96. Kerigan Lewis (Cambridge, Illinois) was next with a 105 while Liz Waymore (Havana, Illinois) carded a 106. Lucy Raymond (Galesburg, Illinois) shot 108 for the 415 final score. Eureka's four golfers scored 83, 88, 119 and 122 on their home course.

The women are in action next Tuesday at the Joliet Junior College Invite at Nettle Creek Golf Course in Morris, Illinois.
