Warren Named MWC Swimming Performer of the Week

MONMOUTH, ILL. Monmouth College sophomore Allie Warren (Galesburg, Illinois) was named Midwest Conference women's swimming performer of the week on Tuesday.
Warren helped Monmouth to a head-to-head win at Illinois College on Saturday by winning both of her individual events and swimming on a winning relay. Warren swam the 200 breaststroke in 2:36.72, the 5th-best time in the MWC this season as she won by eight seconds over teammate Addie Smith (Monmouth, Illinois). She then won the 200 freestyle in 2:08.03, the 9th-best MWC time this season, to win by seven seconds. Warren swam the second leg of the 400 medley relay as Monmouth beat IC by seven seconds with a time of 4:23.70.
The Scots will be back in the pool on Saturday at Millikin before finishing the fall semester next weekend at the Mid-Season Meet in Beloit, Wisconsin.
