Track & Field Puts 10 on CSC Academic All-District Teams

The Monmouth College men's and women's track and field teams combined to have 10 student-athletes named to the Division III Academic All-District teams by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) on Tuesday. This marks the final CSC All-District team of the 2024-25 academic year and Monmouth posted a record 54 overall selections. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District in track and field, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and rank in the top 50 regionally in their event.

For the 2024-25 season, Monmouth track and field had five men and five women earn the honor. The women's team had Maddie Boley (Beecher, Illinois), Kayla Braun (Evansville, Illinois), Miranda Hursey (Hanna City, Illinois), Delaney Rexroat (Monmouth, Illinois) and Jillian Toth (El Paso, Illinois) on the All-District list. Hursey and Braun are repeat selections while this marks the third straight selection for Boley, who also advanced to the All-American phase for the second time. Voting for All-Americans takes place over the next week and the Track & Field All-American team is announced on July 15.

On the men's side, Gunner Bryant (Curryville, Missouri), Colton Hutson (Mount Pleasant, Iowa). Eli Newton (Dallas City, Illinois), Blake Orwig (Wyoming, Illinois) and Peter Soutsos (Highland Park, Illinois) all earned the honor this season. Newton is a 3-time selection while Orwig and Soutsos were All-District last year as sophomores.
