According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office the current wait time for a tow truck in Knox County is 2-3 hours.
Do you have enough fuel and cell phone charge to wait that out?
If not, they respectfully ask that you stay home and not attempt to raise the wait time (seriously do not take this as a challenge).
White out conditions exist and black ice is rampant throughout the county. Knox County deputies are doing their best to retrieve those who can't stay with their vehicles while still answering regular calls for service.
