THROWBACK THURSDAYS WILL HOST ANIMATED CLASSICS THIS SUMMER

A highly anticipated Galesburg tradition, The Orpheum Theatre’s Throwback Thursdays FREE summer movie series will enter its twelfth year of screening films at least 20 years old, and this year it’s back with the theme of ANIMATED CLASSICS! Thanks to sponsorship from F&M Bank, The Throwback Thursdays 2022 Summer Movie Series boasts ten features this summer:

6/16 A Goofy Movie (1995)

6/23 The Iron Giant (1999)

6/30 Lady and the Tramp (1955)

7/7 Spirited Away (2002)

7/14 The Road to El Dorado (2000)

7/21 Anastasia (1997)

7/28 Robin Hood (1973)

8/4 Batman: The Mask of the Phantasm (1993)

8/11 101 Dalmatians (1961) [SPONSOR PICK]

8/18 A Bug’s Life (1998)

A Goofy Movie will kick off the series on Thursday, June 16 with a 7pm screening; the rest of the films on the series will screen at both 2pm and 7pm on their respective Thursdays. Tickets are not required for these events; more information on the summer movies can be found on The Orpheum Theatre’s social media accounts, as well as their website www.galesburgorpheum.org. The Orpheum Theatre is located at 57 South Kellogg Street in Downtown Galesburg, with office hours Tuesday through Friday, 10am-2pm.
