GALESBURG — The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team stayed at No. 20 in the first NJCAA Division II rankings of the regular season, released Monday.
The Chargers (2-0), who were 20th in the preseason rankings two weeks ago, won their opening two contests in decisive fashion. Sandburg won 8-0 on Tuesday at Scott and opened its Region IV schedule with a 5-1 victory Saturday at Oakton.
Sandburg’s next contest is its home opener at 4 p.m. Thursday at Kleine Field against John Wood.
