Robertson Named Volleyball Defensive Performer of the Week

Monmouth College volleyball senior Alana Robertson (Mapleton, Illinois) was named the Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week on Wednesday. This is the first week of awards for the season and Robertson is Monmouth's first honoree of the 2025-26 academic year.

Robertson did a little bit of everything for the Scots over the weekend at the Marian Invitational. After three matches she leads the MWC with 11 blocks and she posted a career-best seven blocks in Saturday's 3-1 win over Marian. Playing as a middle and a setter, Robertson also tallied 12 kills on the weekend with seven against Marian and four against Wisconsin-LaCrosse. She led the Scots with 25 assists in a 3-2 loss to Benedictine on Saturday and finished the weekend with 44 assists, 22 digs, 11 assists, 12 kills, two aces and she hit .344.
