Golf Finishes Eighth at Knox Invite

The Monmouth College men's golf team finished in eighth place at Knox Invite at Soangetaha Country Club over the weekend. Full Results.

Ganon Greenman (Alpha, Illinois) led the Scots with a 21st place finish. Greenman shot a 4-over 76 on Saturday and an 84 on Sunday to finish at 160. Briggs Bossert (Evanston, Illinois) shot a 79 on Saturday and an 82 on Sunday to finish tied for 24th at 161.

Carter Wilson (Washington, Illinois) finished 45th with a 92 on Saturday and an 82 on Sunday for a 174 total. Thomas Henson (Geneseo, Illinois) shot 89 on Saturday and 92 on Sunday to finish in 48th with a 181. Grant Foster (Galesburg, Illinois) was the fifth Monmouth golfer in the team score with a 191 and a 55th place finish after a 95 on Saturday and a 96 on Sunday.

Playing as individuals, Cole Reavis (Buena Vista, Colorado) finished 39th with a 81 on Saturday, a 91 on Sunday and a 172 total. Declan Flynn (Monmouth, Illinois) tied Henson for 48th with an 89 on Saturday, a 92 on Sunday and a 181 total. Zackery Manley (Lincoln, Illinois) finished 56th with a 95 on Saturday, a 100 on Sunday and a 195 total.

The Scots had a team score of 676, 336 on Saturday and 340 on Sunday. Monmouth is off until the season-ending SLIAC Championships April 28-30 in Metamora, Illinois.
