Cheryl Buster Obituary

Cheryl Buster, 74 of Galesburg, Illinois passed away on December 25, 2021 at the Knox County Nursing Home with her husband by her side.

She was born to Henry Thomas and Martha Rosenberg on February 11, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. Cheryl graduated from San Bernadino High School. She married David Little and later married Ronald E. Buster on February 23, 1973 in Galesburg, Illinois, he survives.

She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Rosenberg, Galesburg; two grandchildren, Zachery (Lauren) Little, Austin (Valerie) Little; granddaughter, Codie Little; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Little, and her only child, Richard "Rick" Little.

Cheryl was a member of the East Galesburg Community Chapel, and the Galesburg American Legion Auxiliary. Cheryl was an avid reader and enjoyed needlepoint and cross stitch. She loved her purses and loved to share them. She would have wanted us to remember her laughter, her sense of humor and her love for life. Cheryl and Ronald retired back in Galesburg after traveling across the United States for work.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at the East Galesburg Community Church at 106 East Second Street, East Galesburg, Illinois on January 30, 2022 following the morning worship services with Rev. Danny England presiding.
