The Monmouth College baseball team had two student-athletes named Division III Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) this week. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 90% of the games, start 67% of the contests or throw 35 innings for pitchers
Monmouth's selections for the 2025 season are Nate Reed (Chenoa, Illinois) and Owen Wolfe (Galesburg, Illinois). Reed is a repeat selection from 2024 while Wolfe is a first-time selection after missing most of 2024 with a shoulder injury. Reed and Wolfe were both senior leaders on the Scots baseball team that qualified for the MWC Tournament for the first time since 2019.
Overall, the Scots have had 39 CSC Academic All-District selections so far for the 2024-25 season. The at-large sports (golf) awards are next on June 10, followed by track and field on June 17.
