BACK TO SCHOOL EVENTS

The Knox County Housing Authority (KCHA) will be hosting Back-to-School events on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Cedar Creek Place located at 1598 McKnight Street in Galesburg and Monday, August 15, 2022, at Woodland Bend located at 480 Iowa Avenue in Galesburg. Both events will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The events are open to residents of public housing in Knox County.

Several local organizations will be in attendance, including:

- Head Start with information on services.

- ROE #33 with free backpacks and school supplies.

- Free haircuts will be provided.

- Galesburg Police Department for community relations.

- Tres’ Café will provide free food.

- University of Illinois Extension Office with activities and information on services.
