The Memphis Dives Perform Live and In Person at The Orpheum Theatre

Updated: Jun 22, 2021

The Orpheum Theatre is thrilled to announce that local Galesburg favorite, The Memphis Dives, will take stage for a live and in-person concert on Friday, March 26 2021 at 7:00pm. The four-piece band brings the heat with their original songs ranging from rockabilly to classic 50s outlaw country, all the way to modern rock and blues. This concert is sponsored in part by Knox County Brewing Company.

The Memphis Dives was formed in 2014 and is comprised of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Corie “Cow” Weisenberger, drummer Nick Fones, bassist Nathan Anderson, and lead guitarist

Tyler Soper. Regarding getting back on stage after such a long hiatus, Soper says, “Personally I’m really excited about it. I didn’t realize how much playing live music with my friends meant to me until I couldn’t do it anymore. When you’re in two bands playing music almost every weekend and having to stop cold turkey, it was pretty tough for me.” The Memphis Dives concert will be the first live, in-person show performed at The Orpheum Theatre in over a year.

Masks will be required, and social distancing will be observed. More information at galesburgorpheum.org. Single tickets are available online. If you would like to purchase more than one ticket, physically distanced groups of tickets available via phone (309/342-2299) during office hours (Tuesday through Friday 10am-5pm).
